I don't believe you can own any mt lion parts in CA, even if legally harvested in another states.

You can, but there are limitations. Educational purposes, hunted before the ban etc. My sons school has one in the weight room. It's ancient and crap taxidermy to boot. Gives me a good laugh.

I've wondered if eating mountain lion hash at bear camp in MT then coming home to CA and taking a dump constitutes "import".
