Calif.zone D-7 opens this weekend.
I'll be meeting my buddies up on the mountain
friday night.
We're going to a different spot, a place we used to hunt years ago. The usual place has become too over run with road hunters and people from L.A. ( no offence Calif. hunter )
D-7 is the area between Yosmite & King Cannyon National parks, some very senic country, rugged alpine forest about 8,000 to 10,000 ft.
We'll be hunting Blacktails, they aint to big
but they are smart, don't hang out in the open like Mulies, mostly stick to the heavy cover.
