True, but he/she would have a heck of a deal on some awesome hunting boots. Not in glass slippers though, that won't happen.

What did you end up going with? Looking for my first pair of hunting boots…

I have had two pair of Meindls. The latest are 2024 Vacuum Hunters.
Neither gave me any ankle support in the mountains.

They would be fine for prairie hunting I suppose.

I have used Lowa Caminos (and Camino EVOs), Lowa Tibets, Lowa Zephyrs, Zamberlain Wasatch 981, Scarpa Kenesis, two pair of Meindls, Crispi Colorado (my favorites to date), Schnees Beartooth, Hoffman Explorers, and several others.

My three favorites, in order:
1) Crispi Colorado
2) Lowa Camino EVO
3) Scarpa Kenesis

I went with Schnee's Timberline for my first pair a few years back. I put Superfeet insoles in them and have hunted five seasons with no complaints

Of all of these how has Customer Service been if you have had a problem ?
I would hope if I spend close to $400 plus manufactures would stand behind them.

I bought a pair of lathrop n sons because my feet are wide in the mid foot. They’re very heavy but super comfortable. I always take them when it’s going to be steep. Crispy colorados if it won’t be
