Bears moving good?

Hey guys heading out next week to Montana from Indiana. Just wondering how the Bears have been acting out west and how the weather has been? Seen it was a warmer winter/early spring but seems a little chilly out that way now. Big bow hunter and a DIYer so I'm not expecting to tag out but can't kill one back here plus I need the break from work! Hope you all are having a nice bear/turkey and fishing season so far.

Mild weather, a little rain, etc. Snow up high a couple weeks ago, snow line was around 7k ft last weekend. Bears have been staying higher where I'm at b/c only the south facing slopes have greened up really well. Flowers are starting to come in lower. They usually transition to the bottoms around this time but I really haven't seen much for sign down near creeks. All the scat I'm seeing is all grass still, so I'm concentrating on big green patches still. Good luck to ya!
