Bear Unit 43 CO

I am hunting Elk in unit 43 CO late October, is it worth the money to purchase a bear tag just in case?

non resident. I thought I saw CO is selling OTC bear tags this year.

Don't see how it would hurt, I always try to have all the tags I can in my pocket for the unit I'm hunting. Of course it depends on availability. I will be archery elk hunting for 3wks in Sept. I'll have elk, deer & hopefully a bear tag in my pocket. Good luck.

I don't think it's worth the money as a nonresident. However, if you don't buy a tag you know you are going to see one.
