Bear back from the taxidermist

I just picked up my bear from the taxidermist and couldn't be happier. I had the hide soft-tanned and did a euro mount myself on the skull. This was my first, of hopefully many, black bear and I'm amazed at how beautiful their coats are. Not to mention very fun to hunt.

Looks great! Thats what i do with mine also, "hard" tan and do a euro on skull. Its weird that hard tan is soft, but whatever my guy wants to call it, its cheap and looks great. My only complaint is the shrinkage, but taxi says if we strecth it back to original it will be hard hide, since he has to wet it again.?..

If you have any tips I'd appreciate it. I'll be up North for my deer hunt in sept and then a week in October for my father-in-laws bull hunt.
