Bucket List Trip; waited two years after booking the hunt to take care of family, Sonny’s Guide Service held my reservation without penalty or problems until I could make the trip. Great guy! I drove from Coos Bay Oregon to British Columbia and a town called Houston by myself and went on a guided hunt. The outfitters equipment was top notch his staff was absolutely wonderful and I got treated like a king. Hunted hard for seven days in snow rain and beautiful weather. Saw moose, black bears, big cats and finally got a shot 15 minutes before end of shooting light on Sunday night as the hunt was ending. The whole crew pitched in to get my moose taken care of and in the cooler, we let it hang in Sonny‘s walkin cooler for two days before I brought it back to the states. Excellent trip, great people, I’ll do it again as soon as I can afford it .......wilson

BC Does not have a DYI tag for lower 48ers so you need to go to an outfitter. They have a very tite, professional guides association.

Roger that! I hunted with Sonny Perkinson out of Houston, I think he leases properties around Smithers as well.....
