My dad drew the 20C rifle tag for the November 15-21 season. We have archery hunted this unit a few times and haven't encounter many other hunters. What should we expect with respect to competition? 350 tags seems like a lot!!
A few years ago i helped a buddy kill his first buck in a neighboring unit that had twice the tags. He shot a buck opening morning. We glassed him from camp and killed him that afternoon. Only other hunters we saw were on the road. I don't think you'll have too much competition if you hike to the next ridge. People love their sxs in AZ.
