Archery issues

So I was in the deer stand earlier this week with perfect conditions- about 30 degrees when I got out, no wind, a wet snow falling and near peak of the rut. After sitting for 2 hrs in the stand I had a buck step out at 26 yards. I drew back and fired. My bow made the loudest ting upon release that I’ve ever heard. My nock felt like it struggled to release from the string and I completely missed the buck. At 26 yards a broadside shot it usually a chip shot for me. I picked up my arrow and when I got home I looked further and noticed my nock had pulled loose about 1/8” from the arrow shaft. I should note that while sitting I had to have my bow resting horizontally rather than hanging vertical, so I did have snow built up on the cams, drop-away, site, etc.

There were no branches obstructing my draw back and nothing I’m between me and the deer to deflect off. Only thing I can think of is I had snow/ice built up on my cams that would have thrown off the timing of release. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you got ice around the nock.
