This is long over due...

Garret has been a very good friend to me, and one of the guys I have met through this forum and hunted with and kept in touch with outside of here. He is one who accepted me, quirks and attitude problems, and health issues, and all. Me and Garret are both pretty bad ball busters and the first to give each other crap over something, all in good fun and good natured friendship.

Back in November I was on a deer and elk hunt that was not going well. I was tired and cold and upset about holding Andy back from being able to really being able to hunt properly. It was cold and rainy and my shrink had made some changes in my happy pills. I was talking to Garret one night and he was busting my balls and I was in a bad mood and took his ribbing the wrong way and went right the hell off. I said stuff to him that no friend should say and threw stuff in his face that was unfair and wrong. I was purely an asshole and I should have just shut my phone off when I felt myself getting frustrated.

Garret, I am sorry beyond words. I don't deserve your friendship, but know nothing like that will ever happen again. I value your friendship and miss our chats and drunk moshing.

Ah, the dust up that goes into hyper mode. Usually is family members that have these but rest assured they get ugly. If are an anomaly then usually things patch up given some time. If is a pattern then we are who we are and no much with patch up.

Good luck on your draws and hunts this year and hoping the hunts go well enough it evens out for the past ones that were tougher than usual.
