Perhaps a weird question here, but here goes.
I'm thinking of buying some bulk 1000D Cordura fabric and having my wife sew me some custom panniers, and misc gear. She's a very talented seamstress, and the actual projects aren't very complicated. Her main concern, is if her sewing machine is up to the task. I know we need heavy needles and nylon thread.
Just wondering if any one has experience working with this material, and how it went?
