The way things are going, the only people who can hunt federal lands here will be the locals... and as that continues, the rest of us will push to limit NR hunting on state land as that will be all that's left for the rest of us. In the meantime...

In 2019 the US Supreme Court ruled unanimously in a case involving a hovercraft in the Yukon Charley National Preserve.
It will be interesting to see how hunters floating are treated by federal law enforcement in units that are closed to non-subsistence hunters.
