Got myself some new stuff and thought I’d share.

45 Colt in a S&W 1854:

Will be loading some hot 45 Colt for woods use; might F around and do a close range muley hunt next season. It’s a great little rifle, literally just a shortened 336 so a bit stronger than an 1894.

Got a new stock for my 25-06:

It is currently being bedded (by me in my heated garage) but I’m excited so you all get to see. I think this will add about 2000 fps to my current loads.

Got a new chronograph. This one’s the Athlon and it’s sweeeet

Also, I finally got a rangefinder. Just a cheap one from Vortex but man it’s a game changer.

Biggest game changer for me, though, is finally getting some AT tires for my truck and 500 pounds of sand for the bed. It’s a 2wd and typically sucks in the snow, but that has changed

None of this was all at once but I haven’t posted in a while so it’s all built up.

Nice. Maybe consider a 4wd?
I have. I decided the little it snows and the terrain I go through typically makes getting a different truck kinda pointless. I wasn’t sliding around this last time it snowed and it only cost me 50 bucks in sand and trading my old wheels and tires
