Before you crucify me over the title- this is about a book. Thought I'd have some fun with everybody since we're in the season for the "where's your honey-hole" threads.

Going to be chasing bulls for the first time this fall, so I'm trying to do my research the right way- starting at page 1.

See you on the mountain.

I own that one too. That’ll be some nice light reading for you.

Why do you want to elk hunt?

From what I can tell, it's everything I enjoy about hunting, only moreso. The landscape, the solitude, the challenge, the food... Sometimes even calling during the right part of the year.

But the downsides are also more extreme- the cold, the pack weight, the disappointment, the risks... Which also kind of seem fun, in their own masochistic way.
