A story behind every mount

I just got this bird back after a year and half wait. It has a couple cool things going for it. 1. It was the last bird of a tough season, on the second shot of my over under. (I missed the first shot) 2. It was shot over my dads home made foam decoys some of which are 30 years old (before my time). 3. Dog made an amazing retrieve. 4. It was the only bird I got that day and it just felt special it just had that feeling about it. 5. The very next day I got the phone call at work that I need to get to the hospital because my new baby boy was on the way. Now the little guy is running around and blowing in a duck call like its a kazoo!

very cool! I wish I would have gotten my pups first rooster mounted but money was in a pinch then. Seemed like everything just fell in place when I knocked it down and he made an amazing retrieve.
