Good news in Maine!

I used to get an occasional bycatch of little parr marked stocked Atlantic salmon on the Farmington in CT. Catching one always made me wistful for days well before my time when they were abundant in New England.

I believe the last time there was a documented spawning on the Farmington was in 2016. Last year a whopping four wild fish returned to the Connecticut River basin.
