The actual article is about herbicide spraying, but I really enjoyed the time lapse so I thought I would share. In a place that gets that much rain it's fun to see how places cut in 1980's look very uncut in 2016.

 
I wonder what herbicides are being sprayed now? High Country News usually does a pretty thorough job but the article makes it seem like 2,4,5-t is still being sprayed. It was banned in 1979 in the US

The article definitely isn't clear on that issue. I would tend to think they're spraying more of a 2-4 D now. But I don't really know. I will say that I feel like the quality of HCN has really dropped off in the last 5 years. I don't know if it's lack of funding or turnover, or what, but it's not the upper echelon of news outlets in my mind anymore.
