Im selling some of my guns to shrink my safe. I came across a 8mm Remington Mag and one used it once or twice at range and was wondering if anyone still has one and uses it, and if its worth keeping.

True most are worth keeping. I liked the 8mm RM but ammo is even harder to find then my 35 whelen and 35 Remington.

Other that the hard to find ammo i think i would keep it just because it's something different than everybody else uses.
I don't think I've ever seen one for sale.

There isn't anything on this continent you'd be undergunned for.. or most other continents for that matter.

A friend that hunts the world prefers his 8mm RM to almost everything else. That being said he has to reload nearly 100% of his ammo.

I don't think that this caliber did very well. Since I don't use factory ammo, that is not a consideration for me. I would be concerned about even finding brass for reloading. I knew a game warden in NM that had one and loved it, but that is the only one that I never knew of.
