Hello everyone, just a quick question I have a .338 ultra mag in the 700xcr I am having it accurized and glass bedded. I was wondering if any one has an accurate load for this rifle. I like using nosler accubonds and also the barnes triple shock. I love this rifle I hope the accurizing will do some good. I shot a yote with it and it is NOT A COYOTE GUN. :D :D :D Great splatter effect!!! Thanks Happy Hunting.

93.0 grns IMR7828, CCI 250 primer, 225 grn Partition. Mine liked the 250 grain bullet with max imr7828, but it was too violent for me.

338Ultra Mag load

Just saw your post, I have the 700xcr also, didn't glass bed it, but put the Mercury tube in the butt stock. The rifle shoots consistant 1" groups at 100 yd. I am shooting 90 grains Reloader 25, CCI Lg Mag Rifle Primer, and a Nosler 225 grain accubond bullet. Tried the 250 grain accubond but group spread out to just under 3" at 100 yd. I didn't try the any barnes bullets but was thinking of trying the Trophy bonded bear claws but REALLY expensive!! Let me know how that load works for you if you try it.
