3 more coyotes

Our trapper caught 3 more coyotes on his last set. This is the 2nd year he's trapped here and it seems to be making a difference. Last year by this time we had several deer kills on the river ice,this year none.

I got another today. Called in a pair, but only shot the female. Tried to get the boyfriend, but he wasn't slowing down as he ran out of sight over the hill. I'm not sure if I just suck or what but I'm just not seeing the normal amount of song dogs this yr as normal here in Montana.

Maybe the price of fur is so good and it's been cold for so long that guys are really hammering them with the traps??? Who knows, all I know us that it's really fun to send a 55 grain bullet @ 3700fps down range their way!!!
