2025 NM Search for Speed Goats

22 hr drive accomplished yesterday.
Brought two newbies to western big game hunting with me.
Now it’s time to get some scouting in.
Just looking to fill the freezers!

Boy, the mirage was pretty intense pretty quickly. Lopes are hiding out for sure. Bedded down and don't wish to be seen, I guess.

Speedgoat hunting is addictive

Spent some time glassing but still warm with heat waves. Decent goats were seen.

Prairie dogs were enjoyable to shoot
