Why doesn't Colorado have a spring season? Surely there are enough bears to support at least a controlled hunt or two?

I just got home from a business trip and saw this post. I immediately got online to find out my spring bear fate. All is good, my buddy, his daughter and myself drew West Blue Mountains spring bear. Should be a fun hunt and I'll keep everyone up to speed regards our results.

Congrats. My wife turned her nose up at the thought too, but once I lied to her face about what she was eating....she loved it.

We stuck with smoked hams, roasts and the sausages.

I'm in as is expected with my hunt choice. Getting to be one of my favorite hunts of the year!

If your wife likes to make enchiladas just raw pack it in jars with a few jalapeno slices, 1/2 tsp of salt and a clove of garlic and can it. It will get eaten!

Been feeding bear enchiladas to all our family members and they all love them. Many still don't know they like bear....
