Youth quota, too young
As long as the kid can actually hold the gun and shoot safely, then I am good with it. Definitely depends on the kid, my son was not that interested in hunting when I took him at 9 or even 12, but it was a completely different story last year at 14. Staying at one of the resorts along the gunflint trail is a favorite of my family. Beautiful scenery, ability to do day trips, but with more amenities. Deer Camp is More Fun
Couldn’t agree more, the traditions passed on at a hunting camp are priceless! I have multiple camps each year along with at least one out of state trip, all of the are different but I look forward to all of them for the reasons you mention.- HuntLedger
