I obviously have the wrong Fenix! It’s the HM50R. Battery life sucks (like an hour on high) I picked up a Sofirn a couple months ago but haven’t used it enough to tell on durability etc. I can say it’s very bright on both white and red. Don’t agree. If it’s plenty cold I think there is a good chance the meat is just fine. I think it’s our responsibility as hunters to at least try the meat and if it’s a little stinky turn it into sausage or something! I think it’s a dumb idea to just assume it’s bad and ‘let the scavengers... -

Good thread. For me it’s about the adventure and experience as much as the animal taken. Would I love to do a Dall sheep hunt? Absolutely, but can I afford it? Absolutely not!!
