What caliber/rifle/bullet would be suitable for taking a Terminator/iRobot?
3006, 150 grain fmj doing 3000 fps. Any bolt gun. If the roomba in my house ever gets any funny ideas, I’ll be sure to test this combo out. -
Reasonably priced digital scale
I currently use a beam scale, RCBS. It’s great, just looking for something a bit quicker to throw on the bench. Anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced digital scale?- 3006Sprng

What calibre/rifle combination would be suitable for taking a T-REX.
Curious what everyone would consider to be humane and accurate for taking a T-REX. What would be the minimum, and what is most reasonable? I was thinking something chambered in 14.5x114mm. -
Leupold scopes love or hate em?
Their warranty is great. Vortex, leupold, Burris are all no receipt, no questions asked warranty. -

Glass is good. Weight is awesome, very light. Dials, meh. Zero tracking/hold, junk. Price for value, junk. In the higher end lines, vx5 etc, top notch scopes, wicked good. Vx3 and freedom are rip offs for mid range and value scopes. Other brands make better scopes in the sub 1500 dollar... -

White tail, black bears, moose. I have the BT 140’s. Going to work up a load, 22” barrel so velocity should be reasonable. Everyone seems to talk up the 120’s.- 3006Sprng

Starting reloading - what to get next?
you can order a Caldwell basic shoot through chrono on Amazon for really cheap. Mine was under 150 cad, would be even cheaper in the states. They work just fine.- 3006Sprng

Info about 270/308 loads
4064 is a great powder. Currently running varget in 308, very similar performance velocity wise. .308 win 165 grain Hornady interlocks Fed brass, multiple firings Ginex LR primer 44.5gr varget 2700 fps 22” barrel. Hang a bear rug?
Sorry, the rugs were 2-3k. Mounts were cheaper. For a quality one, thick, nice backing. Shoulder mounts a little cheaper. Burris signature 2-10
I have the 3-15 signature, plex reticle, Love the scope. Turrets are awesome. Better scope than the vx3 that I had. The newer signature hd 2-10 only comes in the E3 reticle (kind of a half BDC/Christmas tree). But if yours 2.5-10 was good, I think I’ll grab the 2-10, price point is awesome. -
