    Got it done last Saturday in Indiana. Been after one with an old Winchester 410 pump. Only take it when its nice. Patience paid off with a great bird. 28#'s, 12 inch beard, 1" spurs.

    Wellers and Eagle Rare were always go to's for me. Tin Cup came out tasters choice at a blind a guy does in our area. Beat some really good bottles and they redid it a couple weeks later and came out on top again. I've only tried their 10 year.

    I agree with the others that say the one that rwill remind you the most of your dad. If your plan is to sell them the unscoped one will be easier to move along

    That is most likely a short chambered Lefevre. Also inspect your barrels very, very carefully before firing. Those are twist steel construction and should be checked over carefully. Most likely an H grade. Should be stamped on the receiver flats.

    I'll thumbs up the copper spur ul3 as well. Can run it several different ways. Fly and footprint if it's decent weather to save weight. I also have the Durston single and love it as well. My brother runs the xmid 2 and it's a roomy 2 man, but sure was glad we had the big agmes to share the last...
