My family has been .257 Roberts fans for 60+ years. Dad's first rifle was a 760 pump that I later shot a black bear and my first buck with when I was 12. Also have a Remington 700 Mtn rifle that has never been shot, a Browning BLR and a Remington 722. We prefer handloaded 117 grain bullets. Mark- MtsPSU
