    I still love Crested Butte. It's a wonderful place to vacation. The situation they face is similar to the situation so many expensive seasonal tourist destinations face. There's no easy answer. I don't mind the arts center at all.

    They'd be better off with one mounted closer to the bore line, but Leupold is actually great for this application. The long eye relief and forgiving eye box make them as good as it gets for kids. Start them on reduced recoil ammo.

    I found myself dating in my mid and late 40's. A pre-menopausal, ovulating 40-50 something will absolutely maul you like there's no tomorrow. With that said, if you happen to go through menopause with one of them, there's a chance that life will suck.

    It's not a situation that's unique to Vail. It's happening in a lot of high cost of living resort destinations. Crested Butte/Mt Crested Butte face the same issue.
