Typical Ruger QC. They let their customers do their QC. Ruger tends to be pretty good at problem resolution. I suspect it's because they get a lot of experience. -

The same parliamentarian stripped the HPA out of the bill. I doubt seriously that provision had much if any push back at all. There's always someone out their willing to give the middle finger to the will of the public.- dranrab

Fierce or Christensen Arms?
I have two CA Mesas. They are both MOA. The first one, a 6.5 PRC had to go back to the factory for feeding issues. They were fantastic in resolving the issue. I read a lengthy and very unflattering thread on Fierce on another forum. Fierce was dismissive and condescending toward an owner... -

I am doing what I can from down here in the deep south. I am circulating this on various forms of social media. I can't believe the temerity of Lee. He shot America the bird and is trying again. It takes a lot of gall to ask Americans to sell of their public lands to compensate for congress'...- dranrab

I don't bemoan aviators at all. I don't bemoan the National Guard. I don't even bemoan the folks that did this. It was really, really, really damn dumb though. Not that it makes much difference, but I'd love to hear what they have to say. I hope this doesn't kill their careers, but I suspect...- dranrab

Lever Guns, what would you choose & why?
What 44 Magnum do you have and what kind of groups are you getting? I have had 2 44 Magnum Marlins, 2 Ruger 77/44s and 2 CVA single shot 44 magnums. 4 inch groups at 100 is the best they'd routinely do. Every now and then they'd go under 2 but the overall average was above 4". -
