See now we are getting somewhere. I work with a guy( don’t know him real well) but he spends a lot of time in the breaks. He has a south side tag this year, his dad and a buddy both had north side tags last year. He told me some encouraging things about sizes of bulls to be had if you work for it. -

I’ll join the fun. I burned a lot of points on a breaks tag this year knowing it’s not what it used to be. More excited to to hunt the country. I have plenty of time to be patient and see what the unit might be hiding. Hopefully we can prove all Debbie downers wrong! -

Bozeman: is it really that bad anymore?
Perhaps the only thing I miss about Bozeman is the Cats Paw. Not surprised at all with the closures. Last year I swore I was done hunting 520 with how many people I saw. Mostly on weekends though. Well come a year later and when I suddenly have a couple days to steal away from obligations mid week….sure why not. Saw several different states license plates...- Flylo

I too was a little surprised to see something about Gaffney on ht. Brings back great memories from 20 years ago. My shoulders still hurt from how many times I attempted to land switch tele. Don’t ever let your kids attempt that!- Flylo

Yes, with the way it’s set up in the picture. I figured if I ever want to make it work with three I could either run my ti goat stove I use in my sawtooth or go back to the mr buddy system for that trip. I got the Kodiak 10x14 and it has served me well. Practice setting it up in your yard a couple times and if by the third try you can’t do it in 15 minutes by yourself, just sell it because you probably shouldn’t be going into the woods anyway. I was impressed with how well it handled 3 days of... -

Well about a week ago some putski shot a cow at the Gardiner dump. I show up usually once a year ( only because my best friend lives in Gardiner) and every year I turn tail quickly and am embarrassed I showed up. -
