    FILM act

IIRC, the TV show Wardens (Montana), got a ticket from the USFS for not having a film permit. I’m not sure if they gave FWP a ticket too, but that would be hilarious.

    Canyon Ferry Bozeman Water Pipeline

I don’t know much about water rights but I find it hard to believe that the cost of water rights to be used in the area they are attached to is more than building a pipeline. I would think the market for these rights isn’t great as agricultural lands in the valley for them to be used on is...

    Canyon Ferry Bozeman Water Pipeline

What happens to all the water rights attached to the land being consumed by development in the Gallitan Valley? Isn’t a lot of the flood and sprinkler irrigated?

Montana - Time to Shake it Up?

I”m not sure the cannibis tax money can be used for research. 75% goes to Habitat MT and 25% to the reincarnated WHIP program.

War on Weeds in the Bitterroot

Plateau is neither the newest or most effective herbicide for cheatgrass. Seems like an odd choice. Herbicides with indaziflam are for more effective.

    Montana's Attorney General

Go to the hunt planner and overlay conservation easements with BMAs and other access opportunities. You will be surprised.

FWP: Hank's out Dustin Temple in

I wouldn’t expect much of a change as DT has been the real force and architect of policy since about covid. Hank was a figurehead. So now it’s the same policies without Hank’s folksy charm.

FWP: Hank's out Dustin Temple in

Plenty of people are fully aware of his track record at FWP.

Can the habitat Montana money be spent without a budget appropriation?

SB 442 - Habitat and Access

This gives me hope. Glad to see the broad based support for this. The governor is a very smart man and surely sees the writing on the wall.
