Snow + Geese
Looks like a great time... Hunting geese in the snow is fun. Hunted one year here in the Texas Panhandle with it covered in fog. Stood up and just listened for them to come into range. One of my greatest hunts ever.- kwrhuntinglab

With the size of his high fence, you definitely aren't going to think you are in a high fence area. It's huge and hard to hunt with canyons and draws, lots of cover for those animals.- kwrhuntinglab

feedback sought: hunting with an outfitter for whitetail
Do your research on the outfitter. Here in Texas since it's mostly private land, some outfitters are great and others leave a bad taste in your mouth. I have a buddy that does trophy hunts on his place and his our 5 day hunts with lodging and food. Price depends on the size deer you shoot. I've...- kwrhuntinglab

Whitetail rut finally saw some action
Great buck... the weather here in Texas has the deer going all crazy. Last 5 days we were in the 80's for a good part of the western and southern part of the state. Guys talking about the rut in some areas kicking off well into December when it normally kicks off around Thanksgiving...- kwrhuntinglab

My buddy has around 5000 acres in High Fence south of Fort Stockton. Nice lodging, great guy that treats you like family. Amazing day on roosters
