    Have them be in shape. I wouldn't stress too much. Primary reason is to get out and try to find some elk and have a good time with your freinds right? Getting an elk is secondary.

    It's always a good refresher. I think I've "taken" it about 6 times now. Originally, to get a new card, once each with both my kids and with two nephews. Got a couple grandsons I plan on taking soon as they are old enough.

    I had to retake hunter safety. There were no records of what I took as a kid because the records did not go back that far.
