Bigger advantage in a VX-3i Leupold riflescope?
Big fan of all the Leupold scopes I've had over the years - currently running the vx3i without a CDS dial. Wish I would have paid the extra for the CDS setup because now I wish I had it! I would buy the one with the windplex reticle too instead of the duplex that I have currently. -

300 mag v 300 wsm
WSM for me! Main reason being to piss of those that shoot the 300 win I guess? And cause WSM just sounds cooler than 06', and everyone knows animals die from cool factor of the cartridge - why else would all the sudden the 6.5 creed kill so many more than the 260 rem -

Help me pick a new pack
Barneys is unbeatable for moose packing. Have one we reserve for just that. Went with a Kuiu Pro LT5500 this year though, and I know there are a lot who hate on it, but I fell in love with it. Amazon Tripods for Vortex Binoculars
Cheap tripods aren't worth it. If you want a small packable one that is high quality, I really like the Sirui Am-225. 2Lbs. I use it to glass from with Binos and Spotter, and also shoot off of it -

Looking for rangefinder for mountain rifle hunting
Avoid vortex. Used to be good, at least the ranger 1000. My 1000 crapped out and they replaced it with an 1800 - that thing was worthless. Couldn't range close, couldn't range far, and the scan mode was like one range per 5 seconds. Max range I got out of it was 400yds, and barely. For a $380...
