    I'm looking at a Meopta or Leupold scope but having never seen the Meopta I hate to make another mistake as I did with the Ares 4.5-27x50 I bought not ever seeing that either. 3-15 or 4-18x44 or 50 would be nice SFP perferred Help an old guy old, which way to go Hhardrock

    I'd buy her a good straight 6x and from any place other than Amazon regardless of price difference. Couldn't support that POS for anything. JMHO

    I was at Scheel's in Rapid City and they had .243, 25-06, .270 and a few others but no middle of the road ammo. Lots of N530, 110 and a few other powders

    Stay with a proven winner. I chanced a Athlon Ares that I never had seen or knew much about, just what others had said about their scopes being so good blah, blah blah. Might end up on a .22 as that's about all I think it's much good for. Bad eye relief after 15, very unforgiving in that higher...

    I have a Ares BTR(Gen I) nice glass, after 15 mag eye box gets a little small(JMHO)
