    King Eiders?

Who has all done it/who is looking to do it? I personally did it in Greenland in March of 2020 before covid shut the world down. Greenland is now opened back up to foreign visitors, as is St Paul after a year off for both programs. I want to go do it in St. Paul one day to say I shot a King from...

    Northern Manitoba

Oh God that had to be a nightmare. I remember there's a treaty station somewhere after 6 branches off to 60.

    What camera are you running?

Anyone running some of Sony's higher end cameras? Looking to get back into photography. I used to run a Canon EOS Mark IV. Looking for something newer that has the same capabilities, especially for motion shots. Was looking at the A9 ii

Guided Hunts--when would or have you done them?

Greenland offers Kings at double the limit of Alaska and Common Eiders too (Northern Borealis subspecies). Same price, I paid $5500 over there. Travel is less weather contingent and the weather is much more tepid compared to the Bering sea. Hunt occurs in March, so it's still cold, but the...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

In addition to your vaccination cards, you'll need to download the "ArriveCAN" app on your phone and have it registered before you reach the border crossing. I'll be making quick stops in Manitoba and Saskatchewan if the news holds true, but it'll still be a far cry from a normal Canada year...

I guess I cannot send PM's yet, are you able to send me one? Cost for the trip was $5500 all inclusive (excl airfare, ammo, and tips). Airfare was 1300-1500. Aside from that I didn't spend $75 out of pocket the entire trip. Limit 8 Kings per hunter and a lot of common eiders (s.m. borealis).

    Bucket list.....

I went with Midwest Hunting Consultants as a client. We were one of the first American groups to do it as approved foreign hunting is still very new in Greenland. They're on Facebook and social media. I will switch over to PM, don't want to hijack the thread haha.

    Bucket list.....

AGREED. First time ever holding any in my hands, to say my jaw hit the ground every time was an understatement.

    Bucket list.....

Also birds are easy to get home from Greenland. I have 5 more Kings being done in a courtship mount. As for my bucket list, I'll be in Cold Bay in September and Iceland in October. I'm really hoping to do New Zealand if covid is done closing off the rest of the world.

    Bucket list.....

Greenland is an option where the seas are calm and the limit is double Alaska. Also it takes place in March. I want to go to St Paul one day to say I shot Kings from both the east and west coast flock, but I'm in no hurry to get my butt kicked by the Bering sea. Oh also you can shoot Borealis...
