I’m not afraid to get two miles from the road. But it would stink to do that hike and find the elk are sitting in private. The grizzly and wolf sitings seem to be hit or miss. Some people say there’s a bunch some people say they have never seen them. -

That makes sense. I talked with a guy the other day and he told me to stick to unit 240 because with our tags we can kill a mule deer buck, or bull elk in there. So that’s what we plan to do. Might not even go into 270.- jbird1229

Sadly I wont get the time of foot until I get out there this year. But I understand that. Same thing applies for whitetail hunting here in Maryland. -

Why not ask questions about a fellow hunters experience? Even if I knew more then anyone about a unit. Having a discussion with other people is the point of a forum. I don't even care if I see any animals, I'm just excited to get out in the country. -
