Winter project
So I have two rifles in the safe that never get shot. I am looking to do some kind of build with one or both of the actions. First is a Howa Mountain Alpine in 308. Thinking about a light deer/sheep gun without changing much so 260 AI, 7mm08, 7mm08 AI etc. Something that can get a 127g LRX... -

Blind Squirrel
First year as a NM resident, and I drew 16c first archery elk. It will be my first elk hunt ever. I've been e-scouting, and have a couple dozen (lol) spots to check out. I plan to get down there at least twice in the summer to get boots on the ground. I am also waiting to hear back from the elk... -

New Backpack Rifle
Is this the last Howa Alpine? Lol. Picked it up yesterday. Gonna top it with a vx3i 2.5-8 with dnz game reaper mount. Someday I might even find ammo to shoot it.
