New Mexico unit 51 first rifle
Good luck in the draw. This year for my app I moved across the street to Unit 49. No real reason other than just trying something new. Odds look about the same. For anyone who draws 51 I'm glad to share what info and experience I have, including what places to stay away from. -

Just got back from 51 and a successful bull hunt. I'm more than happy to share what little intel I have. PM me for more specifics, but honestly you can just pick any place and go enjoy yourself. You'll find some elk. We drove as far back as we could on an FSR and were into the elk fairly quick... -
