    Probably not when it’s attached to the bino harness, they sell a standalone that’s similar in design to a diamond d though.

    Yeah, but if I take it off my rifle will be in my hand. I’m more worried about the rifle being strapped to my pack and needing a weapon. I’d probably reevaluate if I was going archery though.

    That’s exactly what I was looking for, thanks! I couldn’t find a clear view of where it would ride with a larger revolver. I see what everyone is saying as far as crawling goes and it’s a valid point, but that probably amounts to 1% if the hunt.

    I plan on spot and stalk and I’m all for hunting any legal way but I bet that would be frustrating. There are several units that open in August before archery elk, if I were going to run dogs I’d make sure to take advantage of that.
