Yeah but that is all changed now this year. If you get a WR deer tag now. You can’t apply for any of the other tags until the last drawing. And for most of the counties I would like to hunt, there would be any tags left over. Now the old system. I could dang near get a tag anywhere I wanted- Luckydog1147

Well the issue I have this year is I am Deployed with the army until some point in October. And actually getting tags in South Dakota is not very easy even for residents- Luckydog1147

I lived in South Dakota my entire life. I have grown up hunting and fishing. My hunting experience has gotten better the older I have gotten. Late season hunt maybe?
I am currently deployed to Europe with the Army. I will return to the states in late October early November. I would really like to try to get an elk hunt in still this year if possible.
