I have 2 rifles that love tipped match kings but it seems nearly impossible to find any more. Anyone that has extra, or a lead to find some?
thank you, mark
I rarely - anneal, clean, deburr flash hole, use expander mandrel, never turn necks, adjust powder charge 0.1 grain, adjust seating depth 0.003, change primers or do 21 trick plays while reloading.
I use quality - full length dies(with button), press, SCALE(a&d 120), brass, powder and bullets...
I went through a phase that I felt everything needed to be crimped. In my experience crimping (normal hunting calibers) does change things, sometimes better, sometimes worse, sometimes without change and not always repeatable.

I would pick a middle ground 280ai, eldm, or eldx will run toe to toe with the 6.5prc with less wind drift and more energy and an extra 1 or 2 fit in the magazine. I had a 24" cf barrel with brake that is being replaced with a 20" and suppressor for the same reasons as you.

I have no actual experience but YouTube vids show inconsitant expansion below 2200fps. The thick jacket and tougher alloy lead sure seems like it would be a great option for normal range hunting bullet. I plan on using the 100gr tgk in my 6cm this year.
My old man bought a very early rem700adl 7rm, weaver 4x (serial in the 5k's) after getting out of the service, hunted his whole life with that rifle. Most every day I think to myself, maybe I should stop "whoring around" and carry that same rifle.
I am using an overpriced rrs bh-30 with qd plate. There are 100's of ball heads you just have to decide on a balance of price/weight/size/features that fit your needs.
