Solo Elk hunting
I'd concur with the mental piece. Usually, I have to drive through the discouragement that can come if you're not finding them. When I've been successful, it's usually because I've stuck with it and kept grinding! -

NV Cow Tag 108, 131 - 132 Strategy

Elk Caliber and Bullet Choice - 2024
Tikka .300 WSM... I'm hoping to switch to a .308 at some point (Tikka, Browning, Howa??) so that the ammo is a little cheaper and the rifle is a little more fun to shoot. -

I pulled a SoDak Black Hills Any Whitetail tag. Will need SD to keep their head above water (as well as every state between SD and my current home in VA) as I'm active duty AF and Uncle Sam has very strict restrictions on which states we can go to based upon the number of new cases. Wyoming Late Season Rifle Elk Hunt

Newbie looking for any NV Elk guidence
I'm a first time NV hunter, second time elk hunter with the same tag. Planning on hunting the opener and will let you know what I find. Question for the experienced folks, has anyone seen the cows in Unit 73 or 75 in mid November? Thanks!
