SOLO? IS IT POSSIBLE WITH ELK?
Agree with the comments in this post. I hunted solo last year in CO, because I was not able to find a hunting partner. If I had gotten an elk during archery season, the warm weather may have been a problem. The steep terrain and deadfall makes hauling the elk out a major challenge. Unless... -

Archery Elk hunting partner
I also am interested in a hunting partner for 2020. I am from Illinois as well, but now live in CA. I have hunted CO, NM and UT over the last few years for both archery and rifle elk. I also am building points in WY, ID and AZ. If you are still interested, PM me and we can talk.- tmiller

Colorado OTC Archery Elk Partner
Wondering if you ever found a partner? I have been looking for one as well for my archery elk hunt. I am currently planning on spending the month of Sept. in Colorado, probably GMU 75/751, although I could change.- tmiller
