    Hey guys and gals. I was lucky enough to join BHA as a life member and received a Kimber Mountain Ascent 308. I need optics, but am on a budget. Planning for my first elk hunt in 2019, I want something quality, but won't break the bank. Any ideas? Thank you. Gerry

    Good morning! I am very new to Elk hunting. So new, in fact, that I am planning my first hunt for 2019. If you needed an all around rifle for Elk and most western big game hunts which would be the best choice of caliber? I was leaning toward the 7mm-08 REM. Thoughts ?

    "Hunting" TV Program

    I couldn't agree more Redman. Most of the programming is canned crap. Mr. Newberg, Steven Rinella and the MeatEater Crew, Remi Warren, Solo Hunters do it right. Respect for the animal, the land and the history. Thank you to them.

    NJ new Democratic governor to shut down bear hunting

    He's done it. Right now all bear hunting in NJ has been ceased. Shameful. This new Governor is going to be a big problem for Hunters in the Garden State. Not to mention the ridiculous gun laws in NJ. An air rifle is considered a FIREARM. Geez I need to move out west.
