I just purchased a new (to me) Kimber 8400 for a mountain gun. The scope I'm planning on mounting has an objective lens of x44. Any recommendations? I have and like DNZ on my Tikka and like them, but needed a cheek rest on the Tikka stock to line up everything up quickly with ease and... -

Home Freeze Drying?. Anyone done it
Yep. I've dehyrdated a bunch of meals. Make up dishes, dehydrate and divide them, put them in a ziploc, dump ziploc in pot, add water, boil, simmer a bit then eat. You are the man! That's a fantastic idea. I just shot a buddy's 1100, and it wasn't for me. Just didn't swing well for me. I'm really leaning used more and more with this post, so thank's all for that insight. You fellas are great! -

Packable non mummy bag
I'm a HUGE fan of my Nemo Riff. I hate mummy bags too, but I love having a hood and a place to tuck my head under/into. It's a hybrid "spoon shaped" sleeping bag. wide in the shoulders, narrower at the waist and flared at the feet. I like to sleep on my side/stomach and side and it worked...- MinneFoCo
