222 rem and 53 gr vmax

Google says a 14” twist. Not going to work with the 53 vmax

    FWP Bonus Point Sketchiness

Honestly I don’t see a problem with the bonus point system. It’s not like you have to buy the point to still draw like a preference point system.

    FWP Bonus Point Sketchiness

Just allow no more bonus point purchasing and let people roll with what they have.

    FWP Bonus Point Sketchiness

I’m just hoping for a goat tag. Won’t even knife a tent

Tell me about your obscure cartridge

I didn’t play with it long as a friend wanted it more than I did but if I remember right 225 grain accubond was going 2900fps.

    No MSG under 18?

Montana needs to go back to full price applications on the big three. I know guys that apply now that if ever drawn for a goat tag will put very little effort forward for it. The only reason they apply is because it’s cheap

    No MSG under 18?

Fwp waged war on the Nannie’s in the crazies for a few years

Tell me about your obscure cartridge

The only three maybe four that I would do again would be a 223 ackley and 7mm max and if I wasn’t running suppressors with short barrels I’d do a 7mm mashburn and 338-06 again. The 17s bullet selection isn’t what it use to be for coyote bullets. Not sure anyone even makes a 30 grain anymore...

    Howa Superlite

135 grain Berger classic hunter on left and 140 eldm on the right. There was no cool down time between shots only between groups. I will take that for a 7lb rifle ready to hunt. Only complaint about the rifle is the bolt is pretty rough from what I’m use to but should get smoother over...

    2023/2024 Trapping Thread

You got me thinking now. I’m healed up enough to do some trapping now but nothing I trap is worth anything this time of the year. I’ve never trapped beavers before. When does their fur typically become worthless in the spring? Definitely going to be a learning experience for me if I do...

    Howa Superlite

6.5 creedmoor setup with a banish backcountry, Talley medium rings, and Trijicon credo hx 2.5-15x42 goes 7lbs. If it shoots as good as it feels should be a winner.

    Indiana Bobcat Season Law Signed.

I have to dive into to the thick cedar draws to catch them and you can just snag one in your driveway.

Montana - Time to Shake it Up?

That’s would be great. Only problem is fwp has to want to do it and want the information it would gather.

Montana - Time to Shake it Up?
