    Need some live trap pointers!

My buddy caught his back yard chicken killer in a live trap. It was the biggest thing they sell through F &T trapping supply tho. It's a huge live trap! Took a week or so to catch him. We bedded the bottom pretty good with dirt and leaves so there was no wire mesh exposed. That's my only...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

Latest article I read said only thing changing in July is that fully vaccinated Canadians won't have to quarantine 14 days like they do now. At this point I'm convinced Trudeau won't ever relent to an open border. He could give 2 shits about the damage it's causing on both sides of the border...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

I expect that government would after this long have some sort of plan to get things open. I mean seriously let's just bury our head in the sand because this or that variant may kill us all. I am a dummy but looking at this objectively I don't think covid ever goes away completely. Either we...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

That's my question. Has Trudeau given 75% of Americans vaccinated and 50% of Canadians before he will open up? I haven't seen anywhere that he will even discuss any kind of numbers for an opening. I'm far from a conspiracy theory guy but government has and always will have many reasons to lie...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

Hey Ranier you pulling those numbers out your ass or they come from Trudeau and his inept government? Part of people's issue with this whole shutdown is their refusal to give any sort of metrics for a reopening. You know someone might hold them accountable if they did. Clearly as a government...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

I'm aware there is a miniscule chance vaccinated people can still get or possibly spread it. There is a miniscule chance anyone could spread an infinite number of diseases. They yap about following science and the cdc has said vaccinated people can travel safely and also don't really need the...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

Ontariohunter I'm trying really hard to see any sense in your argument. I'm quoting facts. 1600 cases and 19 deaths in the whole friggin country has you on lockdown. It's ridiculous. If your country's Healthcare system can't handle that you're in serious trouble up there. And seems laughable...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

Lol Ontariohunter. Those numbers are from cdc website. Where should I look if that doesn't suit you? If you can't get hernia surgery maybe Canada's Healthcare system isn't perfect just like ours isn't perfect. Seriously if your system is overwhelmed with that number of cases something is...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

I just looked up the numbers. Yesterday around 1600 new cases and exactly 19 deaths in a country or what, 30 some million? And Trudeau would like people to believe it's not safe to reopen? If it's not safe to reopen at these levels better end it all because it sure as shit will never be safe...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

Yeah for canada to still be on basically complete lockdown with these numbers of cases and deaths is beyond stupid. And yet still some people are all for it baffles me. If you are going to ruin the economy and lives for this few numbers you may as well bury your head in sand and call it quits...

    Montana Bear license

Bought mine couple months ago. Kill tag never showed up in mail. Lady on phone said I have to pay an extra 5 bucks at license vendor. I suppose it's not much hassle but I bought it 2 months ago so I wouldn't have to make any extra stops. I'm leaving tonight so all is good!

    Sheep: now or later

Go now or it won't happen and you will always regret it. You will run out of health before you run out of money. I went a few years ago and had a great time. Paying on a 2023 trip for sheep and grizzly in Alaska currently. Probably my last sheep hunt I can afford unless I move to Alaska when I...

Border closure and spring outfitting season

Ha if they even hint about what kind of metrics are required for an opening people will hold them accountable. Last thing Trudeau or any government for that matter wants is anyone holding them accountable!

    Kifaru Sawtooth $550

Great tipi. If I hadn't bought one last year I'd be all over this.

What will you never take for granted again?

Crossing the Canadian border to go pike fishing. Been doing it since I was about 12. Over 30 years. Didn't realize how much I love the freedom to go explore the Ontario bush.

    350 legend

Love it. Its legal in my southern Michigan deer zone. I'm far from an expert but it has dropped half dozen deer for myself and my buddy and our kids so far. 450 bushmaster is more popular around here but 350 seems more accurate to me and my shoulder likes it way more.

Monster Pike what's Your Favorite Lure ?

Silver and gold Williams wobler. I'm not sure why I even have other lures in my tackle box anymore. Its basically all I use. Pike can't resist them.

Lets see all your pets. Pet pics lighten the mood!

My best pal Gracie. Doesn't hunt because she is scared of everything. Maybe not the ideal pet when living in town but we love her and she does an amazing job of keeping solicitors away!

    Lanai sheep hunt

Thanks glass eye I think I have exhausted the search function. I was just hoping to get some info mainly on the logistics of staying on Lanai. My hunting game plan is to pretty much get off the road and look over some of the rougher country I can find. My very limited sheep hunting says that is...
