I have a adirondack in .308 same thing happened to me i was looking at getting one im 7-08 but scored a sweet deal on a .308 that i couldnt pass up. I love my adirondack the only problem i have is i cant get 165grn accubonds to shoot that great. 180 and 150grn round shoot great though. i need to...
Yeah I'll be waiting for a new alpine rifle from Randy for sure. But, right now looking for a rifle for my son and roughly 8.5lbs with a scope is a little much for him. I mean my rifle is 6lbs scoped and loaded, I was looking at a tikka or a model 7 basically a 6.5lbs bare rifle.
Looking at getting a youth rifle, my oldest will be 10 before next hunting season. There doesn't seem to be to many options. For calibers I've been thinking about .243, 7-08, 6.5cm.
FYI I tried searching but only comes up with calibers. Thanks
As far as postal companies USPS is the cheapest. If you have time you can barge items through Samson minimum charge is around $100 for up to 300 some lbs. From what I've been told the airlines charge extra if your using fish boxes so you may be better off using the action packers zipped shut on...
Most people are shooting with a rest of some sort and not off hand. So point is moot to me. Sorry mtmuley I usually agree with all your other statements just not about suppressors.
I don't think the pricing on suppressors is really going to drop companies have a lot of money in R&D and are using expensive metals that are hard to work with like stelite.
Semi rifles will be louder than a bolt gun as the gasses are traveling back towards your face. I currently have a rugged surge in jail. For me a suppressor is worth it for hearing. I bring foamies and ear pro but never use it in the heat of the moment.
Not to make things weird randy I believe I met you in the ferry to the airport you had your bear with you. How's it going. Haha
Edit: All the game on pow disappeared might as well stay on Rev island! (Being completely sarcastic!)
^^ I've been doing "research" through forums and just handling a couple finnlights. I've finally made my decision I'm going with the finnlight over the Kimber in 7mm-08. I really like the way they feel and the fact they have a 5 shot MOA. Small things but it makes me feel good. For a scope I...
Thanks for the reply SA. I should of also stated that I quit my membership after the bundy deal started. I know I fell for the oath keepers being prior service and supporting LEO Orgs.
I know who Stewart Rhodes is and am not meaning this to be a negative thread I support the constitution and is why I originally joined oath keepers a couple years ago, but I cannot support people who support giving our public lands back to the states to sell no matter how many good their intentions.
Not sure if this belongs here if not please move to the right place. But anyways they posted a like on their FB page and I agree with some of the views but definitely not on public lands. I really don't understand how people could willingly want to give up these lands back to the states that...
I me been thinking about this a while and I was fixed on a .270win but have changed my mind to a 7mm-08 Rem, and 338 win mag. Really like the idea of a 250gr round at 2700fps.
