Ducks in AZ
Agreed - I think that you can probably do stock-tank hunting for ducks, at the same time dove and quail are open (would have to double check the regs to confirm). Likely come back with quite the mixed bag!- 33AD

Sandhill crane, worth the time and investment?
AZ resident here - interested in putting in for a tag (sadly, it's a tag draw here, for a single crane, as I am sure you know). Did you hunt public land, or private? I am interested, but knowing what they feed on and not knowing any SE AZ landowners (farmers), I am not sure I would have a chance...- 33AD

As always, the AZGFD is a great resource. And they are dead accurate about the difficulty to the good hunting areas through Peeple's Valley. Trust me, tried and tried, but due to the patchwork of private land, couldn't find a clean way through to the mountains. Best to break off just after...
