I have been shooting Victory RIP for a few years and now the RIP TKO. Best arrows I have shot. Prices are high but considering they are at the business end of our hunt I am willing to pay it.
Any one on here shoot the XTP? I will be mainly hunting whitetails and all shots will be 150 yards or less. I have seen plenty of pics for the TEZ expanding, but not much for the performance of the XTP. Plus side is the XTP is a lot cheaper.
I feel a little bad, now after reading how simple it is. I plan on trying both blackthorn and IMR white hotz. Hopefully something either will show me some consistent groups.
either i am completely over thinking how to properly measure BH209 or I just have no clue. All the powder measurers i have seen available measure by grains. My fiance just got me my dream prohunter and i am really fearful of ruining it. please help! :confused:
100 grain broadhead will work fine. One inch cut is plenty for elk. Just keep practicing and dont over think it. Archery hunting is as simple as you make it. Good luck on your hunt.
Can someone please explain the need to shoot that distance. What happened to stalking within 100-200 yards before making the shot. Guess i was just raised different.
All depending on how much you want to spend, I personally shoot the Victory RIP, removed the outsert and replaced it with brass inserts. I recently heard that 365 archery has come out with an arrow, they have a 365 hunter. its got the same ice coating as the VAPS and are about $100 for a dozen.
